Podcasters and the F Word – Go fry asparagus by Pat Rullo
I am not a judge when it comes to our Positive Change Podcast Awards. I leave that job to our judging panel of industry experts. But I do listen to several episodes of every entry. What a fantastic way to learn about any topic imaginable. I am continually impressed and humbled.
But nothing causes me to hit the mute button with a head shake than random and frequent interjections of the F-bomb. Now I’m no delicate flower, but I’m also not a member of a downtown street gang. So okay – maybe one F is acceptable? Maybe two, if no other word might do. But come on – if the F word is the noun, verb, and adjective of choice, then someone has a problem. And I don’t think it’s me.
The dictionary and thesaurus are jam-packed with choices. Or one could get creative:
- It was F-ing Boring = It was So Basic!
- Shut the F Up = Relax Your Yax!
- F-Off = Go Fry Asparagus!
- Get the F Out of Here = OK, Bye!
