Author Cynthia Hamilton’s ten published works include fiction, mystery and memoir. Her latest release is Houses of Deception, book 6 in the Madeline Dawkins Mystery Series.
Finding Ruth was inspired by a photograph of her mother taken in 1949 while moving her into an Alzheimer’s facility. It was written as a means to discover who her mother was as a person in her own right, outside her role as Mom. It was sometimes a difficult journey into the past, but it gave her new perspective and appreciation for all her mother had been through and how strong she had been to survive all her heartache.
